Mr. Dodd has been teaching for 16 years. He is in his second year on the CODE Staff. He teaches Greatbooks, World War I, Service Learning, Under Construction, Peace Jam, Science of Sound, Middle Ages, and Music. He earned both a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University.

He has a wife who is a teacher of gifted education in the Kearney school district. He also has 3 children: Kali, age 11, Keaton, age 9, and Conner, age 5.

In his spare time he enjoys reading, landscaping, music, fishing, and fitness. His favorite vacation spot is Breckenridge, Colorado. He loves the peace and quiet of the mountains. He also likes to hike.

His most memorable moment at CODE so far was doing a safety demonstration. He got to play with fire and found this very amusing. He hasn't had an embarrassing moment yet but we're sure he will have one in the near future.

He would like to thank Ms.Hutchins for being very motivating, welcoming, and most of all, crazy. She's really made his transition a success.

Lastly, Mr.Dodd would like everyone to know he has great outlooks for the future. He is looking forward to adding a music program and more of a musical and cultural influence to the gifted program.
